Data Protection and GDPR
At Miles Coverdale Primary School we take data protection very seriously. We ensure all staff understand the importance of protecting the privacy of the pupils, parents, carers, contractors and other staff members through robust policies and training.
In 2018 data protection laws changed to give individuals more right on how their data is used. The changes include the new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) which all organisations and schools in England and the EU must comply with along with a new data protection bill.
